What is a Peer Support Group?
Peer support is when people use their own experiences to help each other. There are different types of peer support, but they all involve both giving and receiving support. This could be sharing knowledge or providing emotional support, social interaction or practical help, for example.
What does S.O.S. stand for?
Share Our Struggles. This is a safe place to offer or receive support in motherhood.
Who can attend S.O.S. for Mom’s?
Any Mom!
Can I bring my kids?
To limit distractions please find other arrangements for your little ones. (Except, of course, breastfeeding babies.)
How often will this group meet?
As we get the group up and running, we will have the following meetings through the summer months and then re-evaluate in August:
Monday, June 6, 2022 @ 7pm – 8pm
Saturday, June 18, 2022 @ 10am – 11:30am
Wednesday, July 6, 2022 @ 7pm – 8pm
Wednesday, July 20, 2022 @ 7pm -8pm
Saturday, August 6, 2022 @ 9am -10:30am
Do I need to sign-up?
It’s not required but there is a capacity of 12 in the meeting room. Please click HERE if you plan to will attend.
